Given the VERY negative feedback Bagatelle received from its Facebook 'Fans', can they still aspire to get potential clients by buying 'Likes'? Indeed, from the Facebook status which read "If you could only use one word to describe Bagatelle Mall of Mauritius, which word jumps to mind first? We always appreciate hearing from our Facebook friends, so thanks for helping us understanding our mall even better...."at least half of the 100+ comments received were outbursts at the dreadful smell that Fans linked to the Mall. Here are the juicy bits "Bagatelle Mall of Mauritius =shit smell that sound good" or "LAHAUT BAGATELLE ENBAS LAGRATELLE :p" or even "MALLodorant!" - which totally wins the award for BEST Bad Comment thanks to the nice pun! I hope they still 'appreciate hearing from their Facebook friends" hereon or that they are still "thankful for their help in making them understand what Mall of Mauritius relates to! LOL! Part-Screenshot of a Facebook Page _Well, point is, while wandering not-so aimlessly on Facebook, I fell on this Like 'contest' created by Bagatelle Mall which isn't really a contest as such on second thought! As goes the wording, "Like" us now and stand a chance of winning Rs2,000. Although there is nothing bad in trying to get more Likes, this sounds much more like Bagatelle Mall trying to buy wins from Facebook users, maybe to comfort them in their idea that the negative comments were only representative on a minor part of their "Facebook friends" when, truth is, those who cared enough to reply to their one-word-description status are exactly those active "Facebook friends" who actually follow the Mall's Facebook Page. Therefore, they, more than the other 122K Facebook users who liked the page, should be the ones Bagatelle Mall should be concerned about! Well, I'm not going to ask you NOT to like that page so that there is less competition for MY Like (and YES, I did like the page, we're talking of money after all!) - that would be stupid and mathematically inconsistent (there's already 122K Likes, talk about Probabilities!)! Anyway, it seems Bagatelle Mall needs public support...and that leads us to an important question -WHY? Is there something fishy ? I hope you liked this post and feel free to post your comments! Sine Cera P.S. I will now enable this Rating system, after an easy analysis of the Facebook Question. I'll see if it's worth applying it to all further Blog posts!
